We arrived for Sunday brunch at The Savoy and weren’t impressed. Upon arrival we were greeted and choose to sit inside since it was a short wait. We met our server and waited for well over 30 minutes for her to come back but, she was no where to be found until another woman moved us and served us. If you do wind up going to the establishment the sneaky link and chicken and waffles were pretty good. Maybe the next time will be better.

Absolutely loved this place! This was my first time ever attending the SAVOY based on a lot of word of mouth recommendations and it did NOT disappoint In the slightest! When i first walked up i did not expect to be transported to what felt like the most hidden but obvious speakeasy I’ve ever been too! The decor complicated the laid back but “we’re here to have a good time” atmosphere. Of course i had to order some food & drinks… Ooo my gawd! The ultimate catch over grits was everything i needed but didn’t know i needed! This had fried shrimp, a catfish filet and a lobster tail over grits with some sautéed veggies. You can order it fried or grilled but me?! Fry everything please and thank you! Nothing was overcooked or dry.. just crispy deliciousness! If i wasn’t full i would have said “throw another lobster tail on that thang… expeditiously!” The drink menu was so vast i went with a recommendation from my server (Tasia) & this drink shld come with a caution sign! “The sneaky link” was so smooth and went down well but i did use grand marnier as my topper so yeaaaaa! Now add all this with a bomb a** DJ playing every some you will literally catch yourself & everyone around you grooving to! Let’s just say, if you walked in with a dark cloud over your head… you’ll walk out with the sun shining over you from your experience here!!! I would def recommend this place to anyone in Houston or visiting looking for the vibe where good drinks, good food and good people come together effortlessly!

*i have to let yall know my server TASIA was phenomenal ! I asked her so many recommendations and she was patient with me plus the food & drinks she recommended did not disappoint!!! Ask for her if you go in the day time (that’s when i went )

I enjoyed myself, it was a last minute Ladies night out for me and my sis and bestie. We in loved the atmosphere and the food was bussin. It was our first time but I will return again. The fun we had!!

Enjoy my night with my husband in Houston! We had a ball looking and laughing. The drinks and food were delicious. Lisa, our waitress was everything. She was attentive to us with a pack crowd. She checked on us every 5 minutes. This is my second time here in a week. The catfish & grits were to die for. The lamb sliders melted in our mouth. If you are in doubt, you must come out. It won’t disappoint. Every time I’m in Houston, I’m coming out. Thanks Savoy for a remarkable night. God bless you and your business.

Our waitress was not good on customer service or had a clue what’s in the drinks they serve. She barely came to check on us and the food took over 45 minutes plus all of the food came at separate times. I will credit the flavor of the food was delicious but for 3 small wings for $12 was not worth it and they automatically add a customer service charge plus others fees. I’ll post our receipt. The sneaky link was worth the drink.

The Savoy was definitely the vibe. No cover charge when I went on a Sunday night. There was gratuity added onto the check I didn’t notice til the following day. So I ended up double tipping. If you’re visiting from out of town just note DON’T NEVER LEAVE HOUSTON ON A SUNDAY!

The best thing about The Savoy was the atmosphere. We went on Saturday for brunch and I suppose since we were a party of three we were not as high on the priority list for service. Our waitress was apologetic for the slow service however that slowed her down even more. She was more focused on her large party on the patio. We waited almost 30 minutes after being seated for our waitress to approach our table for our drink order. She took another 20 plus to come back for our food order and the food took forever to arrive. I had the salmon and grits and they were just okay. The grits were very bland. Once we were done eating, we watched our waitress once again take care of her table on the patio while we patiently waited for our check. Another 30 minutes go by, that table is gone and she finally returned to our table long after we were finished and my sister had to go to the bar for a togo box. We spent almost 2 hours there and only ate for 15 minutes and barely interacted with our waitress. This was my first time there and probably my last unfortunately.

One of the COOLEST spots I have ever eaten at! The atmosphere here is AMAZING & UNMATCHED! The service was impeccable and the food - WOW! I can't wait to eat here again! This place is awesome!
