Kayla is amazing! She has me addicted to her gel mani & pedi combos. All colors & themes you want personalized; even simple french mani & pedis!! She's so sweet. I love getting my hair done there too. They also have great hair products to purchase. They even do great special occasion makeup & hair updos.

My hair was basically ruined here, and I had very healthy professionally done hair prior to coming here. What should have been a straight forward root regrowth and trim, ended up changing the entire look, composition and colour of my hair and caused a lot of breakage. The owner did not check in with me during or after the second correction appt to see if the results were satisfactory, and I left the salon with damp, unstyled and multi toned hair. I will now have to pay out of pocket again to correct the damage done here, which is a large expense I never anticipated.

First of all: let me say that the salon itself was beautiful, the staff were friendly, and my haircut was perfect. If you like to have a natural understated hair color or are a bit more firm with your wants, this would be the perfect place to go. My already damaged hair feels great even more dye.

This isn't a good place to go if you want something bright.
I am a bit shy but I have a vibrant personality underneath a few layers of social awkwardness and I like to have my hair be a little funky to reflect that. When I booked my appointment I asked if they had different colors like pinks and blues and the girl on the phone said yes. It was right there on my booking that I liked funky colors and my blonde hair was already full of old blue, teal, and pink peek-a-boos, so it was very obvious that I'd want something vibrant. I was admittedly a little tired that morning and quiet since I was out of my comfort zone but I started off the appointment by saying I wanted to be strawberry blonde or some sort of red.
I asked again what funky colors they had and was told they had one majenta, one purple and one dark blue, and she had no hair samples to show me. So I settled on becoming a regular old redhead and intended on adding more colors down the road when I could afford another appointment somewhere else.
We settled on a dirty ash blonde, close to the color of my roots, and she said she'd add red to it so that it would be close enough to my natural hair color that my roots would be easy to blend in down the road. We also agreed there would be some strands left in my original light blonde hair color to brighten it up.
She did take her time doing the foils and was perfectly polite, and I didn't realize anything was up until near the end when she was drying my hair. I'm now firmly into the "brunette" category (I'm actually darker than one of my natural brunette friends), with a few platenum blonde streaks through the dark dull brown and with no hint of red in sight. I was hoping that it was just the lighting in the salon and a few ladies stopped to say how much prettier it was and I had just spent 2 hours being friendly with this woman and I had no idea what to do but nod along. It was already done, there was no way my hair would tolerate more dying or bleaching to fix it, and the hairstylist then told me firmly never to add any bright colors in my hair ever again. I went into a polite stupor, nodded along and went home. The color does match my colouring and does look good on me, but it doesn't suit my personality in the slightest and now that it's not salon-perfect it looks even mousier. I can't find even the slightest tinge of red in it and there's no way that you could consider me a blonde anymore. I'm completely heartbroken about it but I'm not sure if there was some miscommunication along the way (I had mentioned being excited about not being bleach blonde anymore and wanting to go darker, and shown her a picture of me with red hair) or something that caused this. All I know is that while she was perfectly polite and kind, my hairstylist obviously didn't like vibrant hair colors and I ended up with something she liked over something I myself liked. Otherwise it was a good experience and if you want to have a sophisticated or natural look it's probably a great place to go. I'm already looking into finding a color depositing shampoo to try and brighten my hair up until I can get it fixed.
