Unbelievable little pub with a nice atmosphere. Nice place for a few quite pints and a chat with the locals.. staff are A1 and nice to sit in there company. Highly recommend this pub for either a day/night session.

Absolutely shocking woman who works behind the bar very aggressive not nice at all was out to have a good time I’ve also been told if she doesn’t like you for no reason she will just chuck you out absolutely disgraceful should not be working if you have no customer service will not be back which is a shame because the people were nice but she dulled the mood for me and my friend

Great wee local boozer, recently changed ownership. had a spruce up. It's the only place in Hamilton town centre with cask ales on tap that i know of and all other usual drinks available. A great bonus is no sky sports, so conversation is the entertainment. Good crowd of varied people mostly mature but a mixture of young as well. Would recommend for a quiet few beers

I was here for a steak on my birthday with some friends. It was cooked perfectly and served with Mushrooms, Chery Tomatoes, chips and a wonderful peppercorn sauce. If you are into going out with your mates for a quiet drink and a nice meal, this is the place for you.

Great Pub. I've yet to try the food so I canny review that yet but it's just a lovely family run Pub with Friendly Punters and great staff. The patter is really good as well. The Landlords Dj sets are fantastic as well.

Went To The George For The First Time In A While Due To Lock Down Was Really Shocked To See It Had Bee Taken Over The Food Was disgusting And All so very poor Hygiene Standards Considering There Prices Where A bit Expensive To be told they did not have enough fish would you take the last wee bit they had but still charged the full price it was that bad i could not even eat the small portion and the desert was a microwave pudding over done i Have Been Ill With Sickness And My stomach Since i Ate Out There Yesterday the staff where all so very slang with the wording and speaking to customers very unprofessional i will never be back there the George Used to be a lovely we place with good quality of food at reasonable prices and very well spoken and mannered trained staff i am sorry but i would not recommend this pub to anyone and as most people will see from the reviews there selves this used to be a brilliant wee pub food was a reasonable prices and excellent staff all so its well own hill now shame to see that in our community of Hamilton
