Cool neighborhood bar with good grub and pool tables. Ive been previously but it was after one of my long drinking tours so I don't remember much. This time I came for the food and to see the fireworks at city park. I ordered the Goose sandwich and a couple of abita ambers. The sandwich was good and messy. The chicken was a little overcooked but not horrible. It fell apart on me after the 1st bite, even with the wrapper I had trouble keeping it together. I got to see the fireworks as I sat outside eating and drinking. The bartender was friendly and everyone was having a good time. This is a good spot to pregame or enjoy after an event in city park.

Yes! This bar felt like home. We came back here multiple times during our trip and every time we enjoyed cheap beer, good food, and so many laughs. Kelly is beyond wonderful, I left my book and she kept it for me until the next day and remembered me and my husband. She deserves all of the money.

Evangeline is great! Friendly bartenders and they have great food. Not just the usual bar fare either. Real food. Drinks are strong and not super expensive. Usually a good crowd and an excellent place to watch a game. Lots of outside seating too.

One of my favorite places to go eat and have a drink. Bartenders are just so dang nice, every single one of them. The food is great, I love their burgers. 10/10 spot.

Visited late night for a drink and quick bites. This is definitely a neighborhood bar and you can feel the eyes on you when you walk in. I think they just want their vibe respected when it comes to tourists. The burger was good, a little salty but tasty. Boudin egg rolls were a good hangover snack. My favorite was the outdoor seating in the cool, humid breeze. Once we sat down and relaxed we were initiated by several friendly patrons with enjoyable conversation. A great hidden gem for late night vibes.

We had a blast here on our first night in New Orleans. It's definitely a local bar with a welcoming vibe. I appreciated the late night good food. We were getting into town at 9pm on Thanksgiving and were able to eat good! We also ordered a couple drinks and played darts.

Long bar. Chill side room. Pool table and darts. Would recommend watching a game here or stopping in for a drink
