I give 4 Stars because 5 is perfection!! Nothing is Perfect.., no room for improvement? The blackberry wings are good.. a little hint of the blackberry at first.. but the habanero takes over the flavor notes after a few bites.. maybe add a blackberry syrup for dipping in the future? The waiter was terrible , we asked for something on the menu and they said they didn't serve it anymore. All of the chicken was Burned, the chips on the chips and Queso were also burned, It took 40 minutes to get our food and we were only 1of 2 tables that actually ordered food. Then we received our bill and we were not informed that if you pay by card you have to pay more. It would be a courtesy to inform your customers before the order that it cost more with card. I would not recommend this place.

The bathroom is completely vulgar and smells horrible. Yall need to get in there with scrub and bubbles, bleach, and a candle from bath and body works. The dried up broken toilet with crusty toilet paper is especially smelly with the out of order sign on it.

Stopped in a couple of weeks too watch a game. Service was ehh....fish and chips was horrid. With a combo of 0 flavor and overcooked breading, left a lot to be desired... The only saving grace was cold beer.

Was recommended to go here from another local establishment for the best wings in town. The service was all but absent. Went to the bar to get our beers since the waitress was other occupied with 3 tables. The chips started out being g served after the wings. Chips were old and stale. The wings came out looked good. After a couple wings in I noticed a bunch of feathers still attached to the wing. You read that correct, feathers. The waitress actually inspected the wing for several minutes and still questioned if they were actually feathers. I asked her to take care of the dinner and speak with manager. Was given the wings and chips for free and paid for the remainder of the meal. I travel around the country and try to always support local businesses over chains. Asked other locals back at the hotel and they all recommended this place for wings. Once they heard of our experience, we got not surprised to hear about the experience. Beware!

The atmosphere is good. There are plenty of TV’s to watch any game that you would want to watch. Red Beers are good and yes you can screw up a red beer. The fried pickles were all right. I prefer the chips these are whole pickles. One of them the skin was too tough so the whole pickle arm out of the breading. I had the diablo burger. It had jalapeños that had some heat the sriracha mayo was not really spicy but did haIn Salina there are better burgers but it was good and fit the bill. The other hamburger was the backyard burger not bad. The sweet potato fries were too sweet. If you like your fries as a desert they would be for you. They seem to use sugar instead of salt on them. The regular French fries are soggy and were extremely salty. Probably the worst I have had in Salina. Maybe just a bad night. Wait staff very attentive and friendly. Would I go back probably but it would not be in my top three for Salina.

Been coming here for 30+ years. I came when it was under a previous owner and name. I don’t live in Salina but we come back to visit family a bunch. The Speak has slowly declined over the years. More so in the last few. Tonight, August 2024, it reached its peak of pathetic service!! I don’t know the waitress’ name or the bartender’s, but Jesus H. Christ, they stink. This place was really awesome tonight. Hard to get a drink first of all. Waitress was worthless. 2 of 4 drinks ordered couldn’t be served because the bar was out of ingredients and the waitress didn’t know what was on tap. That wasn’t really the problem. The food was really the first problem. I ordered 12 boneless, served 18. Brother in-law ordered 6 bone-in wings, got 6 boneless. Group ordered chips and queso, came out stone cold. Sent it back, they nuked it, still came back cold in the middle. Sister got the mushrooms. They’re re okay but don’t waste your time and money. Wife got SW chicken egg rolls except they literally had no chicken. NONE. During this meal, we all went dry. Hard to get a second drink. Bonus time…Asked the waitress to split the check. My bill came out $40, my brother in law’s was $60. Is this the new math or is the waitress just flat stupid? Seriously, this place needs to get their s&it together. PS- we had to go to the bar for service at one point. The peckerwood at the bar is rude and acts like he’s doing you a favor. Dude, if you don’t want to help customers, get a different job. No one will miss you! Your staff is killing you!!! Management needs to grab a clue!

In Salina for my sons birthday. He picked this restaurant. We’d been here once before about 6 months ago and it was pretty good. This time not so much. I had the tenderloin. The breading was not sully cooked and tasted like straight flour. The meat itself was also fatty. The tots were on pint though. My husbands fries tasted like fish so I’m guessing the oil is used for everything. My son only ate 1/2 his sandwich; he said it wasn’t that good. The service was spotty at best. I wish we’d gone somewhere else to celebrate.
