The pub is on the main drag of a cool rural town. The joint has nice curb appeal.

It has a front deck for out door dining and drinking.

The house beer is very very good and reasonably priced before 5pm.

It took a long LONG time for the food to come out. My 3 year old was getting VERY impatient. When we asked the server if we get to eat soon... her response was "we make everything from scratch and it takes a bit of time..."

My boy had a kids hamburger meal. It was huge. The French fires were DELICIOUS.

We had fish and chips. The chef was very liberal with the batter but it was well fried and tasted very good.

Our server was attentive and not overly "fake friendly"

Conclusion: when we are in the area looking for a meal we will come here for sure!

The food was yummy and good sized portions. It took a while for the food to be cooked/prepared though. The server said everything is homemade so it takes time. Unfortunately its hard to keep a toddler to sit still when they are hungry. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Service was good and our server was attentive to our needs. Nice cozy atmosphere in pub too.

Best poutine I have had in a long time!!
Ample cheese curds, great gravy and crispy fries. Husband ordered a burger that was very delicious, and you could tell the patty was homemade and fresh. Thank you so much for giving us timely, hot food for take out. Very friendly staff as well. We will certainly be back!

We occasionally go to this place for breakfast. I liked their old menu better. How the cheapest breakfast you can get is $13 and it’s a huge portion.
Bacons have improved though. They are cooked more properly and are delicious. Overall, it’s pleasant to have breakfast here. Nice staff.

Nice way to spend a sunny noon hour lunch on the outdoor veranda. My wife and I split a BLT and a Western. Both were good, but I thought they'd come with a side of hashbrowns or something. Good selection on tap. It was a little busy for a weekday but our waitress did a great job keeping everyone happy. We didn't check it out, but the Inn its attached to might be a nice place to stay for a while. All and all it was a nice spot to stop.

Less than average. Waitress was inattentive and not very friendly. Nachos were dry and burned with not enough cheese. Plus ridiculously expensive. $25 for nachos. Insane. Half price wings were a good deal. I wanted onion rings and they were out of them. Same with chicken strips. I won't go again.

Oddly enough, the ribs on Rib Saturday are average. The place is a great gathering spot for locals and visitors alike in a pretty little village worth an afternoon's walking tour. One of our group of four had the soup and sandwich; it was top-notch. Pricing is reasonable.
