I booked an appointment today at 2pm. I booked the "Talk of the town" pedicure. It was supposed to " include nail maintenance and detailing, hydrating cuticle care, and an aromatic, exfoliating sugar scrub from the tips of the digits to the base of the knee or elbow.. Talk of the Town Pedicures also include a warm paraffin treatment and relaxing extended massage that will surely have you melting in your seat. Finally, the service is “polished off” (pun intended) with your choice of non-toxic polish"

However, the description should read "Talk of the Town for horrible pedi. It doesn't actually include everything in this description. So don't believe what you read here. Nail maintenance and Detailing will include shaving skin off your feet leaving cuts, cutting your nails crooked, pushing cuticles too far back, there may be blood but don't mind that, we don't actually do sugar scrub that's just to reel you in. It worked right?! Talk of the Town Pedicures include a cold Paraffin treatment and unfortunately you don't actually receive the extended massage that will surely have you melting for anger in your seat. Finally, the service is “polished off lots of spots on your nails” (pun intended) with your choice of non-toxic polish that costs you an extra $8 even though it states it isn't included. Lastly we tell you it's an 1hr long service so be prepared to sit 10 mins before your chair is ready and nails and all these services we pretend to offer finished in 40 because you've sat 10mins of that time drying nails.

To make matters worse, one of the owners was getting her nails done with her daughters and friend. She never asked how my service was or greeted me when she was finished with your nails. She just sat getting her nails done bossing the nice lady behind the counter around, gave her daughter an unkind look for not getting chocolate for the woman who was doing her nails son and the nice lady to “get Grandma a drink she's thristy”.

I went there to have a Talk of the Town, 1 full hour of pampering in a calm quiet atmosphere!

I do not recommend this nail salon! ? Talk about Talk of the Town for horrible service!

$70! I was ripped off and want the owners to make it right!

The front lady was amazing though, very kind. She did change the price. However, to be charged $70 after seeing areas where there should have been paint and my nail crooked.

My new favorite nail salon! My technician Orlando did an amazing job and was so friendly. Paint Nail Bar gives their customers the royal treatment. I was offered a complimentary mimosa to sip on while getting pampered. They also have super cute clothes and merchandise throughout the store and I couldn’t help but buy myself a ‘Real Housewives of Sarasota’ tumbler because….goals! My visit to this salon made my entire day and I highly recommend to anyone and everyone! I’ll be going back soon 🙂

About a month ago, I was hired by the owner Michele Schlossberg as a full-time nail technician and I was promised full time hours and an hourly wage. The owner only gave me minimal part time hours and short notice schedule changes. Due to the circumstances, I had to resign since I needed to find full time employment as I was promised, but not given. (about two weeks ago now) | still have not received payment of any sort since I started, meanwhile the other two girls that started the same day as I did, received payment - just not me. I have left several messages asking when I will get a paycheck and if I could help with the process in any way, being respectful as possible and to please contact me - which I have sent over 8 texts and after two weeks today, there still has not been any response from the Owner whatsoever. I have emailed the company, I have done all I could and have not gotten anywhere. The owner is very unprofessional, disorganized, the turnover rate is terrible, and much more. I am beyond furious and very disappointed in my experience here. I still deserve my pay and she is breaking the law by not doing so, but does not care. I would NOT give this place business.

After posting my review, I was contacted and offered a complimentary re-do on my manicure. I went in and had great experience, but this time we tried a different brand polish and the result has been much better. No chips, no lifting in the same timeframe as before (side by side pictures for reference). If you've
had a poor experience with the product, I encourage you to go back and try a different brand. Thank you Paint Nail Bar for making it right and providing great customer service.

8/12/22. I visited Paint Nail Bar a week ago and had a lovely experience. My technician was Jennifer and she was great, did an amazing job. However, just a week later I have a couple of nails chipping and completely lifting on others. Must be the product but it didn't last as long as I'd hoped for. Also, I was told that the gel nail polish and toe polish would match but they were definitely off. I think I will give it another try, because it is a cute place and customer service was great but bummer it didn't hold up better on my hands.

Had such a pleasant experience at Paint Nail Bar in Lakewood Ranch. They have a very wide range of gel color selections to choose from and the atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. If you are looking for the PERFECT red, be sure to try “Christmas Essence” in gel, you will not be disappointed! Glitter accent is the color “Joy” and would pair nicely with any red or pink gel polishes.

I love Paint Nail Bar! Brenna is the best. She is so precise, and her manicures last forever. She is very gentle and always makes sure that I am happy with her work. I couldn’t ask for better service.

I have now had a couple of bad experiences at the LWR location and will NEVER go back. I was running a little late after work one time and called and was told sorry can’t take you and you have to reschedule. I was going to be 10 minutes late maybe. Got stuck at work. Ended up rescheduling and was asked to leave gratuity and felt pressure to so ended up leaving it for a service I didn’t even have!! Now yesterday, again, was about to walk in 9/10 minutes late due to a family issue with my mom, drove fast 20 minutes to get there and was about to walk in got a call from desk saying I wasn’t able to get my gel manicure because I was 10 minutes late. I asked if I could just get a gel polish change then and was told no. I have to reschedule. I was livid. But one time “I” had to wait at least 20 minutes! to get my service and waited as patiently as possible and was thanked for being so patient too! When I mentioned this today to the receptionist I was told that sometimes things happen with a client which would push out someone else like that but it’s rare and that they are a business. Well I am a customer and shouldn’t be treated the way I have been treated and now will never go back there or recommend anyone to go there. Done!
