I went to this salon on Thursday 5/23 for a gel manicure and pedicure. Everything seemed pretty good, my pedicure was great and I really enjoyed it; I upgraded to one of the ones with the hot stone massage, and was very pleased. My manicure looked pretty good too, although I did notice that the guy doing my manicure put very thick layers of gel and had to scrape a lot off the sides before curing. Still, it looked good when he was done.

On Saturday 5/25 I noticed that almost all of my nails had polish lifting at the edges. I always use gel so I know they normally last 2-3 weeks. I took some pictures that day because I was out of town for memorial day and couldn't get back to the salon before Thursday. The pictures with the blanket in the background are from Saturday.

By Thursday, every single nail had almost completely lifted off, some broke off, one came off completely, several were hanging loose and getting caught on everything (pictures in the car). I went back in on Thursday morning and was told they were too busy to fix it, and I'd have to come back.

I do understand being busy, but imagine if your food at a restaurant was made wrong and they wouldn't fix it because they were busy. I think that if someone pays you for a service, you should probably make sure they get what they paid for.

I couldn't stand leaving them like this another day so I went to another salon and paid to have them redone. I wouldn't spend money here again, since I can't be sure they'd fix a mistake.

My pedicure is still perfect.

Received a shellac pedicure and regular polish manicure.
Cuticle cutter was dull and felt like it was pulling versus cutting.
Nails weren’t cleaned.
Asked for a squaoval shape and my hand nails received a buzzcut, they are extremely square.
There’s also ripples in the nail polish.

Today I was in your salon for a manicure. And eight minutes later it was done. The hand massage was 30 seconds per hand. So when I got up to pay for the first I gave no tip. But here’s why. They spoke Vietnamese the entire time (and I swear sometimes I think they talk about the customers.) She never said hello,nor goodbye. This year if all I receive is the very basics of what I’ve bought, then I feel it’s a fair exchange to pay the very basic.

I come to the Owasso Nail Bar every two weeks to get my nails done with dipping powder on my real nails. The last lady that did my nails did a poor job on them. I went in on Thursday of last week to get them done I ended up having to call them and ask them to fix them again because a few of them broke and the clear gel polish was coming off them. I went back on Sunday to get them redone they were supposed to fix them but she didn't do it correctly again so two more broke and the clear gel is coming off of them again. The lady that did my nails asked me what color I chose and I told her the number because I had it written down in my phone. She told me it was the wrong number and that she chose a different number without even asking me. I called to talk to the manager today. I asked them if I came back in since it hasn’t lasted two weeks like it should and if I could get someone else to fix them and not the same lady. The manager told me no that she has to fix them and that next time I need to do acrylics. I don’t need to do acrylics. I’ve never had an issue with dipping powder until this lady did them incorrectly. I’ve spent a lot of money at this nail bar the least they could do is have someone else that knows what they are doing fix them. I told the manager that I drove from Bartlesville every two weeks to get them done by them and she told me that it doesn’t matter where I drove from that they have customers come from all over. They truly don’t care about making their customers happy or how they do nails. Just wanted to let everyone know just so you don’t drive a bunch of miles and spend money just for this to happen to your nails.

Newer to the area and have had lovely experiences both times I’ve gone! The reviews were a mixed bag (for here and almost every other nail salon), but I’ve learned that some people can never be pleased and I prefer to make my own opinion. Been thrilled with my services and will continue to choose Owasso Nail Bar! The place is bright, friendly, and I felt comfortable and welcome.
