I believe it was the owner who assisted my mother. She was very pleased with the process, attentiveness and how he walked her through the appointment. There was a large selection of colours to choose from with different levels of shine. She loves her nails and can’t wait to show them off! She mentioned that she felt very taken care of and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nail salon!

A true luxury nail experience. I have never experienced such meticulous attention to detail in a nail appointment until visiting this salon. Not only are my nails gorgeous, but the salon and all of the tools used were impeccably clean. Jacky is extremely kind and worked with me on my nail design. I appreciated that he was willing to educate me on the services and products they use. He made sure to show me the price of my desired set before any work started so there were no surprises. Although it was a premium price, they were fully transparent and provided a luxury service with very high quality products. Michelle is extremely talented. I showed her an inspo picture with several different designs, and she delivered something even better than I imagined. The experience I had was worth every penny. This is my favourite time of the month getting my nails done! Michelle and Jacky take their business very seriously and always deliver the most outstanding customer service, they make you feel welcome and relaxed as the process begins. Choosing your design is fun and interactive. I love that I always know ahead of time what I will be paying for my service as they practice being transparent with service fees prior to beginning your nail session. If your looking for a nail tech who is patient, meticulous, always upto date with trends, only using quality products and are passionate about details MU is for YoU!

I did their monthly special with different colours. One of the best manicure I’ve had 🙂 really professional and meticulous work! They took the time to prep my nails and cuticles, and the gel was also applied extremely well.

Loving this new nail salon @Langham Square! Just went for my 3rd visit yesterday, and I'm very pleased with the excellent service 🙂 This design (see pic) is definitely one of my favourites!

I love that they give the full mani, not just the gel design, and the complimentary tea is delicious! Michelle is very detailed in her work, making sure that each nail is to the client's liking, and she uses top quality products from Japan. Thanks for pampering me & beautifying my nails - I'll see you again in a couple of weeks!

What an incredible experience at Mu Nails. Mu Nails is a small shop - operated by their two owners Michelle and Jacky. Both Michelle and Jacky put great time and effort into my nails. My nails have not been in great condition on both visits - first because my nails were not in good shape cause of my nail extensions and the second visit cause my cuticles were in awful shape causing my nail to be super dry.

Both times Jacky and Michelle took extra time and care to fix up my nail condition and cleaned up my cuticles beautifully. Thanks to their care and advice I think my nails are on track to looking better and better. Michelle is absolutely talented with her nail designs!!

They are clear and up front about all costs prior they begin their service which I really appreciate.

Lastly what I truly love is their dedication to cleanliness. Equipment that they use is regularly cleaned and SEEING them clean a tool right before they use it feels great as a customer.

Highly recommend this business!

I followed mu nails on instagram for a long time before booking my first appointment, and it was a disappointing experience to say the least. Long story short i had received the worst customer service in my life at this nail salon.

Michelle was extremely unprofessional and rude. She made me feel unwelcomed from the start of the appointment and was condescending and unhelpful in guiding me through the process to pick my nail design. Before even working on my nails, I called her out on her rude attitude and instead of recognizing her behavior and apologizing, she raised her voice and repeatedly talked over me. How is this customer service acceptable at all especially when you charge a premium compared to other nail salons in Markham?

That was when Jacky stepped in and listened to my concerns and frustration with her poor attitude, and apologized on her behalf. Jacky ended up doing my nails while Michelle left the store to cool off. When she returned she would mumble snarky comments and urge Jacky to watch the time and finish the appointment with me asap.

To be fair to Jacky, I will say that he put a lot of care in doing my nails. He was patient and calm throughout the entire process, and my nails turned out pretty too. I would’ve been a return customer for Jacky if it wasn’t for the poor service with Michelle at the start.

Bear with me for this long review, as I want to show you the good and the of place. I only went here to see what the hype and popularity of the place was about. Disclaimer: I went here awhile back but just got around to posting now as my friend suggested.

Pros:
- Array of styles and designs to your liking
- Cleanliness and sanitation of the utensils after each use
- They quote you the price before hand so you know what to expect after your service
- Hand exfoliation and massage

Cons:
- Pricey - Extensions without designs in itself was already $120 The price they quoted did not include tax which made it a whole lot expensive. But also for the price I paid I hope the extensions would’ve lasted long but it only lasted 2 weeks

Jackey was great, amazing customer service, very gentle with the clients, and very caring/attentive to the clients needs.

The other lady who is working there, Is unfortunately not as pleasant to deal with. Attitude was quite rude, as I was a new customer she was rushing through the whole process just so she could help out her regular customer. Long story short, I paid $250+ for extensions with designs only on two fingers. Which is utterly expensive and cost half the price if not a whole lot less, elsewhere as I have done the same style, extension, and design for only $105. I paid practically to get scrutinized and criticized the whole appointment there by this lady, if I I don’t need to get my nails done for an event coming up I would’ve left right away. She said my nails were unhealthy and fingers were swollen and infected. And that my finger should look like hers and wish she had gloves on at that time. My nails are perfectly healthy no chip, no dent, no discoloration, no nothing. When she took off her gloves she said my nails should look like hers but her nails were worse incomparable to mine. Long story short, she said I should only get my nails done there because if I got it done anywhere else my fingers and nails would be worse. First of all she does not know my body and I did not pay to get my body let alone my hands/fingers criticize the whole time. Also to add, my fingers ended up being actually swollen from the service afterwards. So if you wanna have a full on criticism of your body/hand/nails feel free to go here.
