We visited tonight, very poor service, took forever to get our order, our drinks and then our food, the portions are extremely small, the trio of burgers very underwhelming, a small cup of chips. The Mac and cheese balls very greasy, the vimto cocktail had no sign of vimto at all, the lemon bon bon wasn't too bad, the waiter spilled my pint over my arm and my mobile, we also had a dog sat beside us you should be asking or informing customer due to allergens! We also did not get asked how our meals was. The waiter needs more attention to detail and customer service as it was non existent. I wouldn't be back!

Brilliant night with good music good staff and class banter, especially from the bartender that was working scouse guy. Tonight firday 11th oct we don’t your name but you were amazing and we love you. Food was abso Amazing. And I got to sing bills by lunch money Lewis. Amazing.

Used to be a great pub,but now it's like a private members club with most tables reserved for evening quizzers 6 of whom were only drinking water. The young staff need to be trained properly as the told me to get a menu when I asked theprice of prosecco.wont be back.

Fantastic food. I walked in expecting bog-standard “Pub Grub” and was blown away by the food quality. Someone in the kitchen clearly cares about the food which is refreshing to see.

The Crackbird Chicken is worth the hype.

I really wanted to love this place as I had heard great things but tbh it was a bit disappointing. We went for dinner on Saturday night and we waited about 30 minutes for a drink and an hour for our food, tables around us we telling staff they had things missing that they ordered and they brought me the wrong side, they did correct it but my chunky chips where crunchy in the middle so was not the best , drinks are nice and food was okay but the chicken in my slider was a bit chewy. I’d go back but would not rush back, but maybe they where short staffed or something.

Been in a couple times the first being a few months ago. First time our order was wrong (ordered a sharing chicken platter). We got a similar platter which we were told cost more (but we would be charged for the cheaper one) but it wasn’t what we ordered - we didn’t want a platter with bones which is the one we were given. Probably should’ve made a bigger fuss but we were on a tight time schedule and it would’ve been a waste.

Most recent visit (month or so ago) there was a very limited menu (for some reason). Got a burger, waitstaff suggested cheese (didn’t tell me that slice of cheese cost £2.50 ? what a joke). The burger was fine but a pretty small sad specimen, same for the wee cup of chips.

Friendly staff but not good value for money and I won’t be back.

A quaint bar with a conservatory type extension giving excellent views of the outside world, although there's not a lot to look at except a busy main road. Quite a smart place with a contemporary feel, more of a lounge setting rather than a bar. The service was as you would expect, no complaints.
