Do you know the part in the sandlot where the kid says 4 – EV– ER. That’s how it took to get anything that’s not a pizza. Unfortunately they only had one server until 12:30. By that time we canceled one of our three dishes. Steak & eggs was very underwhelming, maybe because there was only two people in the kitchen & two staff members in A., maybe 75 seating capacity room? I don’t know. End of story don’t go here. Or maybe go here when A. first open and there’s no one here. And just hope you don’t have Kevin as the only person in the room. Shout out to Kevan though I hope you get your memory together. Looking good with your shirt tucked in and Doc Martens.

[December 2024 Update. This has become one of our favorite places, and we darken their doorstep about once a week. The new menu items are a hit. Their patio is wonderful for outdoor dining on Houston winter days. Lovely service from Yolanda and Kevin on our last few visits. Fantastic spot!] George's is simply superb. The food is phenomenal and lovingly prepared and might be described as New American with an Italian flair. We have paid much more for meals that were not nearly this elite. The grilled trout can be upgraded for a small upcharge to include a very generous topping of crab and side dishes (as you can see in the photo). The charcuterie is huge and inventive with everything from high-quality mortadella to fresh honeycomb. The beet salad was fantastic and actually included a generous portion of beets, not the paper-thin slices some restaurants offer and then overcharge. We didn't even make it to the fantastic pasta menu or the HRW offerings. Buttermilk ice cream...how good does that sound when it's 100 degrees? George's has a full bar and a huge covered patio that sits on the east side of the restaurant, meaning it never sees the worst afternoon heat. Plenty of easy parking. Fantastic service from Nicholas and his ninja-like reflexes when we were clumsy. A new favorite!

Came here for brunch during Houston restaurant weeks. It was a pre-set menu with lots of choices. We also did the mimosa flight. Staff was so kind and attentive. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Plenty of parking too. Would def recommend for brunch or dinner. Great local spot with fresh food, bright flavors, and friendly faces.

George was a good experience for a Sunday Funday.

The parking lot is quite ample, good location and easy access to the restaurant.

We made a reservation so our table was ready right away.

The staff is quite friendly and attentive.

The place is super cute, you have two rooms to choose where you want to sit (inside and on the patio). The patio very well decorated, super chic.

I ordered a Hibiscus Bubbly it was really delicious, they have a good drinks menu. The food was good we ordered the breakfast pizza (egg on a pizza caught my attention) it was something different. But the best and be sure to try it when you go is the Chicken Honey Biscuits, the best of all.

For the grand finale the Lime Merengue that was incredibly fresh and just the right touch of sweet. It is definitely a good place to have brunch or some of your food.

Stopped by for a Sunday morning brunch. The environment and decoration are cozy and the outdoor/patio seating looked lovely as well. We had ordered the ‘Cotton Candy Crunch French Toast’ and the presentation was amazing, definitely one the kids would enjoy. It was such a treat to eat and was surprisingly not too sweet. If savory is more of your preferred brunch item then I recommend the ‘Steak and Eggs.’ The steak was cooked to preference, the taste of seasoning was lovely and not overpowering so you could still taste the meat. It is definitely seasoned on the saltier side though. I enjoyed the side of tortilla chips that came with the steak but finished those before I could finish the beans and guacamole. I definitely think it a great place to catch up with friends, plus they have an extensive drink menu if that is what you are looking for!

Disappointing first time. I ordered to go because I wasn’t sure how busy it was going to be during lunch. There were only about 5 tables taken when I showed up.

The food quality was excellent. However they forgot several things. I ordered the burger with no tomatoes. But they still added them. They also didn’t separate the bread and lettuce, which I didn’t ask for but when I got home and started eating it, the bottom bun and lettuce was soggy. Not that big of a problem though. They also forgot the marshmallow dipping sauce for my sweet potato tots.

Overall the food was good and I’ll stop by again but they left me hanging on a few thing.
