Spotted the place from the road and turned back (with a friend) for a drink and a bite after a good workout. The food was simply DELICIOUS. The price was right. But the music was too loud, could barely have a conversation with my colleague. And the waitress, while nice, was a little distracted.

But at that price, I would definitely repeat the visit. El Dorado Grill is likely the only place in that area with a kitchen closing at 10:00pm.

Wow, what can I say? The food is absolutely delicious! Service was quick, excellent and well spoken. The price was pretty comparable to the size of the meal and well worth the quality. I’d highly recommend El Dorado for all of your desires. Staff was friendly, kind and attentive. It was clean and easy on the eyes. El Dorado will probably be my go to in sterling from now on!

Beware of sneaky charges! We came here for lunch as a group of 4 and at first were impressed with the prices. The food was decent as well. However, when I went to pay, the hostess told me the total amount but did not give me my itemized receipt. I thought it seemed higher than what was on the menu so after I signed and gave tip, I asked for the itemized as well. You can see that an autogratuity is included but then the credit card copy has the after tip amount as pre-tip. They never disclosed the autogratuity to us and didn’t give any of the detailed receipts until I asked for mine. I ended up leaving as they were busy with someone else’s bill and it wasn’t that much but this is just a shady practice.

The food was pretty good. This place is more of a comfort food than high end food. Music was very loud. But it was fine for Cinco de mayo. I had an appetizer of ceviche (pictured) which was pretty good and a huge portion. It was almost a meal by itself.

This is a little hidden gem. Every item we tried was flavorful and plentiful. We'll be back every time we're in town. Sooo good!

Edit: Three years later, we returned to have the same knock it out of the park amazing food. I'll dream about these enchiladas.

Boy, oh boy, how do I even start this review. I've noticed a lot of these reviews haven't been real. IM GONNA BE REAL. THESE ARE SOME DIRTY HONDURAN SCAMMERS. I'm not trying to be racist or anything, but as a hispanic man myself, this has to be said. DON'T enter this place unless you know spanish. The server is not even gonna understand you. I ordered 5 chicken tacos at 2:10 pm and didn't receive them until 2:50 pm. FORTY MINUTES FOR SOME TACOS? Here's the best part, THEY MESSED EM UP. I received 5 beef tacos, and when I let my server know, she tried to argue with me and say that I ordered beef. Like, please, why are you even trying to argue with me when you didn't even understand anything I was saying. I got my chicken tacos 5 minutes later after my server said it would take a while. Barley any filling and just looked thrown together. The guy who said these are the best tacos is smoking some GOOD crack. Finally, here is my favorite part. These SCAMMERS tried sneaking 15% auto gratuity on my check. I was a party of 3 like why on earth would I be paying auto gratuity, especially after that terrible performance my server gave. They also tried to charge us for an extra pupusa we never got. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ASK FOR AN ITEMIZED COPY OF YOUR RECEIPT IF YOU SOME HOW STILL GO TO THIS PLACE.

This is an Honduran restaurant and sports bar. (Ignore the negative review from the guy who thought it was Mexican and expected salsa.) Hearty, filling, generous portions, and we appreciated how they differed from what Americans typically expect.

Huevos Ranchero has all the ingredients, but they come on a plate and you get to assemble what you want on your tortillas. The Pollo or Chuleta with tajadas (fried plantains) was a huge plate which included slaw, pickled onions, and tomato/cheese sauce. Pupusas for $2 we're delicious fat tortillas filled with grated vegetables.

Well worn interior could use some paint and new upholstery in spots, but service was friendly and they obviously cater to fans of futbol. A plus was a live game between Real Madrid and Chelsea while we were there. Soccer at the highest level.
