Came for their event after July 4th. Service has never been amazing the couple times I've been here before, but it's a good atmosphere. Today was a miserable experience. In an hour and a half we got one round of drinks, had to ask for ranch with our fried pickle appetizer and when our food actually did show up (after speaking with several staff) we got two halves of a hockey puck on a bun. All this while watching the owner and his friends being waited on hand and foot getting all the food and drink they want.

My husband and I came on a Thursday evening. It was the perfect time to visit, and so close to our home! Love the location— great for those living south of town. Wish I would have come here sooner! We had a few drinks and an appetizer. Shrimp cocktail was super tasty, and it was a great way to unwind after a long day at work. We will be back again!

It's great having a live band play but definitely could lower the volume some. It is so loud it will give you a headache, and you can't hear anyone at the table with you. There is an outdoor stage maybe move them to there. Id be will to bring out my chair and cover with a blanket sip on some drinks and just vibe . Other than that, the food is great. The staff is great and very sweet, although sometimes they get so busy that it's hard for them to be able to service you quickly once they get busy. My recommendation is the kiosk ordering from the tables, I think, would really help out.

My wife and I decided to eat dinner at Doc's Friday night, because she'd been there before and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Our server was great. Drinks didn't take long and he was an overall nice guy. Very apologetic and helpful with fixing our problem. The problem we had came with our ordering. I ordered wings and fries, she had the catfish special. After about 45 minutes or so our food finally came out. This is after watching other diners who came in after us order and receive their meals. Our food came out room temperature and my wings were undercooked/cold. The fries were almost stale. My wife's catfish was overcooked and oily, leaving her to eat only parts of it. Instead enjoying the sides and trying to make the best of our evening. My wife point of view was that the atmosphere felt like we didnt belong even though as server was really good the ordeal of being there and waiting was out right ridiculous and then when my food came out it was over cooked and fried hard for fish and his plate was cold he had it remade and we just tipped as server paid the bill and left it was just unacceptable. We both are in the industry for many years and understand when your understaffed overworked we been there too but this was not good

A great place for a casual dinner with friends. A good selection of basic beers, with margaritas and drinks to go with a tasty menu of classic American pub food served up by great people. The daily specials are awesome. The ribs were on point tonight.

Service is usually either fair or just bad. I come by about three times a month because my family really likes their chicken fry and I can honestly say I've never had great service. Even at the bar I always tip and I'm still ignored for long periods of time. The drinks are so so and the mixers are cheap. A time or two people were clearly belligerent and making a scene but never cut off or asked to leave. I've seen children at the bar just hanging out... owners sitting right across from them.

I've seen the staff goofing off or otherwise disappearing for long periods of time, leaving the workload to just one or two bartenders/servers. We've had to wait fifteen minutes plus just to get someone come to our table after arriving when there are about four tables and a mostly empty bar on many occasions. They'll be outside chatting or smoking and the employee inside will be running in circles cussing them. It's difficult to get anything you need. Most employees have an I don't care attitude and the place really suffers for it plus they have a high turnover. Servers also take the juke box remote for hours and all that customers paid to play goes down the tubes! They'll be sitting and chatting with the owners for extended periods or chatting it up with a particular table for a while other guests are arriving and waiting forever without even something to drink. The kitchen keeps getting slower too.

The food here is pretty good, but do NOT order a salad. They are SO expensive and its the cheapest lettuce imaginable with sad toppings. We come here for the food specials and to shoot pool occasionally more than anything but our visits are getting few and further between. Their menu prices are too high otherwise. They charge as much as Vagabond downtown for a pizza when it isn't on special. Unfortunately there are just two pool tables and theyre getting in bad shape along with the pool cues. I've seen them allow children to thrash them for hours. Just an unprofessional poorly managed place all around.

We met last night to celebrate my nephews birthday. Got there around 8:00 had some drinks then wanted to order food. The waitress told us the kitchen just closed. Mind you there were 10 of us 5 were children and none of us had eaten a thing cause we wanted to eat there. Ok so kitchen is closed no warning nothing so I said could we just feed the kids please she said yes the mgr has kids so he could sympathize with just wanting to feed them. They were out of all kinds of food she couldn’t even remember what all. Asked if we could do some pizzas she said oh our pizza oven just went down as we see pizzas being delivered to other people’s tables. There was live music which is another reason why we went there and the kids can play outside! We have never had a bad experience there before but it was just crazy last night. So the adults didn’t get to eat just the kids and their hamburgers were burnt so bad they couldn’t hardly eat them. Just very disappointing cause we love going there and the food is really good when they want to cook it or when they have it! So we all left hungry… but the music was good and the drinks were pretty good. Hope y’all can get it together soon cause it was not how it normally is.

Doc's is a great place to get great food at a reasonable price. The staff is always friendly, even when they are busy. The service can be a little slower at peak times, but they are always moving and helpful! The atmosphere is great and has a small-town feel where they know you. Doc likes to walk around and talk to his patrons and check that they are doing well. The bands that have played here are usually quite awesome!
Thank you Doc!!
