I love this place. Everyone from the staff, to the regulars, really made me feel like family. Fun little karaoke spot, with great food and great drinks. Ohjah will always hold a special place in my heart.

I love this place! The drinks are good, the staff is kind but very professional and efficient. It's a good spot to just chill, drink and sing with a good vibe. This place is a STAPLE of little Tokyo.

Cute little lounge in Little Tokyo. The staff is very nice. The songs are $3/each which is a bit steep, but I guess that’s better than waiting an hour in line to sing one song. Very small and chill, best for those looking to have a nice dinner on the quiet side with some karaoke. Would definitely return.

I had Tomoki and he was very nice to talk to. Was somewhat like a small bar in Japan, and the other people around were very nice. Just be sure to sing and have fun!

Ohjah has been my home-away-from-home for the past 6 years, and I count myself amongst the regulars, so you might call me bias.
That said, there is no other karaoke spot I'd go to in Los Angeles.
Kei has to be the best bartenders in the city. His drinks are always strong, clean, and balanced. They never feel cheap, and they always have his own spin on them to make each one a little unique. I suggest a Japanese High Ball, the Michelada, or a bottle of Echigo beer. Tomoki and Tomoko are also great bartenders even when Kei has the day off.
Yuka is the manager and she's the best. She cares deeply about making people happy, but also taking care of her business and her staff. She is sweet, but doesn't put up with entitled people or disrespect.
The Karaoke is probably little more expensive than most places, but at the same time, you typically won't have to wait forever to hear your song like some places I've been.
They get really busy on the weekend sometimes, or with large parties. So please treat them kindly and be patient if you have a concern.

I have been waiting to write this review all weekend! Ok so I celebrated my birthday here randomly. They checked our IDs and Vaccination status and we sat at the bar. It is a very intimate setting, no rooms to rent, just a small bar that can fit about 8 people and a open lounge area that can for about 4-5 parties. So if you are scared to sing in front of people, this isn’t the place for you. It wasn’t very crowed at all (which I loved) but the vibe was amazing! Kay was the bartender and he was incredible! Ask him for his famous chocolate cake shot! He made us a drink he had never heard of before just by seeing the ingredients and it was the best liquid marijuana I had ever had! There were so many songs to choose from, everyone was so supportive and we just had a really good time. I would definitely come back any time I’m back in LA!

The nicest staff I’ve encountered in LA. Karaoke was great, drinks were very strong, we didn’t eat but the food looked good! Clean & very safe feeling. We came from NY & felt very welcome & had the best time! Thank you!
