Had seen this place several times while driving by and decided to give it a try. My first impressions from the walk in the parking lot was it looks new and is very nicely done. Inside it looks like an industrial building converted to a restaurant and huge indoor seating area. Ordered an Okie-style onion burger with a side of mac&cheese. Order came out in short time. Burger was cooked perfectly. The grilled onions, cheese, fresh lettuce and tomatoes were done right and this was a very good burger. The mac&cheese was creamy with a white cheese that complimented the burger. The interior was clean and very relaxing with big screen TVs on the walls. They also have outdoor seating in an equally nice and well maintained space. Was surprised how nice this place is and the have modern music playing in the background both indoors and outside.

Great selection of hard drinks and massive selection of drought beers. Food is pretty standard bar fair but very fresh and good. They do over salt so be aware of that. Will definitely be coming back. If you are in Norman check The Standard out. You won't regret it.

If you are looking for a place with great food, great drink options, great service, and a cool vibe then look no further. This has become the frequent happy hour spot for a reason! The Standard burger is everything you never knew you needed. The margaritas are hands down the best margaritas you’ll ever have (especially when Joe makes them) and the fried okra ? I look forward to every time I get to come here. 10/10 would recommend. They also do events so if you are looking for a spot to throw any kind of event this is it!

I recently dined at The Standard, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! The food was good.

The drink selection was very impressive. From crafted cocktails to a well-curated tap beer list, there’s something for everyone. I highly recommend trying their signature drinks; they also have happy hours! ( I love a deal )

What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service. The staff was attentive and friendly. Their recommendations were spot-on, adding to the overall experience.

The social atmosphere at The Standard is vibrant and inviting. It strikes the perfect balance between lively and relaxed, making it a great spot for both casual gatherings and special occasions. I loved the energy in the room—it’s a place where you can enjoy good conversation and drinks

This is my favorite place in Norman to meet up with friends for food and drinks. The large table seating is perfect for groups. The food is delicious and they have a great selection of beers on tap. The owners are constantly working towards improving the venue. The new heaters are a great addition to their fun outdoor space. I really love all the new changes to an already fantastic place and can’t wait to see it continue to get better!

Excellent beer selection, knowledgeable staff. The range of beers on tap is awesome, everything from a domestic, to sours, IPAs and even several stouts! They curate the beer list themselves and keep it fresh and interesting.

I absolutely love this place. There’s a drink, beer or cocktail for any type of flavor preference. The service is friendly and great. The building is amazing inside and out. It would be absolutely perfect for a company party or holiday gathering. Also fun on a Sunday for happy hours specials. Love this place!

The service was great and so was the outdoor patio atmosphere with a band playing. Drinks were good. The issue was the food. We ordered the catfish, wings, and schooner fries… everything was way too salty. Out of a dozen wings we ate two. Out of two pieces of catfish we ate half of one.
